🤔 What’s going on here?
I’m working on a book? course? not sure about teaching in bootcamps, especially geared toward first-time teachers coming from the professional world, and the people who manage them. It’s pretty rough early stages, but in the spirit of 📖 Shitty First Drafts, I’m gonna try to share some of the process as I work on this. Maybe someone out there in the universe will find this interesting. 🤞

📝 Helping Teachers Improve
This release includes notes on a new chapter about helping teachers improve their practice over time. I found the draft of this easy to write, since I had a lot of thoughts on my mind about this, especially from my experiences working with and coaching bootcamp teachers in New York. So a lot of those new notes are essentially a combination of how I was coached, how I approached the job, and what over time I’ve found to be most valuable.

📝 Initial Outline
So far, this is a combination of initial thoughts, outlines, and rough notes for about half of what I’m planning to cover. I realized along the way that I have a more developed sense of checking for understanding in class than I originally thought. I feel like this is gonna be an interesting ride.
